About Me

I am a doctoral student in the University of Washington's Pharmacology Department and am the Sancak Lab's first graduate student. Mitochondrial calcium regulation is currently the focal point of my research.

When I'm not in lab, I volunteer with the Horticulture team at the Pacific Science Center (PacSci) to take care of the tropical butterfly house. I also help PacSci’s Exhibit Design Team create exhibits to showcase the complex, beautiful world around us.

On my own time, I'm usually busy with some sort of science project, too -- check out my "Fun" page to see what I've been up to!
